Service Upgrade notice - 3rd May 2023

As of Wednesday 3rd May the VPN connection to our PPTP servers will no longer be available and instead we have updated our installers to provide you with a better and faster connection, giving you a faster and more reliable connection to Watch TV abroad.
Why are we removing the PPTP connection from our service?
PPTP is an old and outdated VPN protocol which is now considered insecure and very easy for TV websites to identify & block your connection from accessing the TV service.
Our new installer is based on the OPEN VPN protocol and is more secure and more difficult for third party websites to identify as a VPN connection.

To upgrade and continue using our service please pick your operating system/device below for further information

Windows upgrade guide

Please follow these instructions

1. If you are using our old PPTP installer like the one shown below, please discard or uninstall it.
   

   

2. Follow our detailed instructions on how to download and install our new ViewTVabroad installer for Windows

If you are using a manual setup of PPTP then please also update to the new installer.

If you are using a manual setup of L2TP and are happy with the connection speeds then please carry on as before, however using our new installer will give you access to faster speeds and reduce the chance of buffering when you are watching TV.

If you are using a manual setup of L2TP and are happy with the connection speeds then please carry on as before, however using our new installer will give you access to faster speeds and reduce the chance of buffering when you are watching TV.
