Android OpenVPN Set up
Using this guide you will be able to connect VPN using port TCP 443 which should work even if other VPN protocols are disabled.
Please note:
- Your Android device MUST BE Rooted.
- Please mind that View TV Abroad is not resposible for any damage on your device caused by using this guide.

Install all these applications from Android Market:
- ES File Explorer
- BusyBox Installer
- OpenVPN Installer
- OpenVPN Settings

Install ES File Explorer:

Install BusyBox Installer

Install OpenVPN Installer and OpenVPN Settings

Make sure the Install location and the BusyBox version are exactly the same as on the screenshot. Then click "Install"

A pop-up message will appear and it will then automatically download & install BusyBox. After the Finish message, close the BusyBox Installer application.

Open the ES File Explorer application and push the "Menu" button and click on "Settings"

Scroll down and check the "Root Explorer" & "Mount File System" check boxes.

Return to the main page and click on the SD card shape button.

Open /system/xbin/ folder. In this folder push the "Menu" button and click on "New"

Click on "Folder"

Name the new folder "bb" and then click "OK".

Go back in the /system/xbin/ folder, scroll down & find the "ifconfig" and "route" files. Copy them to /system/xbin/bb/ .

Hold down on each of the files and a pop message will appear, click on "Properties".

Click on "Change"

Be sure that the check boxes "execute" are checked.

Do this for both "ifconfig” and “route” files.

Now Download the OpenVPN config files and CA certificate.

Open the downloaded ZIP file with ES File Explorer. Hold down on zip file and the pop-up message will appear. Click on Extract to.

Extract all files to this location /sdcard/openvpn/. Now click OK.

Open OpenVPN Settings application. Hit Menu button and click on Advanced

Click on TUN module settings.

Make sure that Load module using is set to “insmod” and Path to tun module is set to “/system/lib/modules/tun.ko/”.

Go back to main page, and check the OpenVPN check box.

Chose which server do you want to connect and tick the check box.

A notification message will appear and ask you for username and password.

Write your View TV Abroad username and password and click OK. See your welcome email.

When you are successfully connected to the server, this notification message will appear.

When you want to disconnect, just uncheck the OpenVPN check box.

You can now start watching UK & US TV by selecting channels and services form the channels page. Remember - to Watch UK TV you must set up and be connected to a UK server and to Watch US TV you must set up and be connected to a US server.
