Windows 7 installer guide
- Download the ViewTVabroad installer for Windows 7 and open (extract) the vta64.exe file to your computer.
- Start the installer by double-clicking on vta64.exe.
(if you get the error message : "This profile was not built for this processor arcitecture, please contact your system adminstrator" then please try the 32bit installer here.)
- Click on "Yes".
- Make sure you select "My use only" and tick the "Add shortcut on the desktop" box, then click "OK".
- Next click on "Properties".
- This brings up the VPN Tab, choose one of the VPN Servers you wish to connect to. For UK TV select UK1 or UK2 (either is fine). For US TV select USA 1 or USA 2. If you want to change from watching UK TV to US TV and vice versa you will need to come back to this "Properties" menu and select the relevant server.
- Enter your ViewTVabroad account details (your username and password). Tick the "save password" box then click on "Connect".
- Wait until the connection is successfully established and then sit back and enjoy watching UK & US TV. (make sure you are connected to one of the UK servers to watch UK TV and one of the US servers to watch US TV) See what's on the channels page.
- Once set up you can reconnect to watch UK TV abroad anytime by double clicking on the "Shortcut to View TV Abroad" icon will have been automatically set up on your desktop.
